She was just a regular, unwanted kid, until she was lucky enough to get a job under the best magician in the world! Unfortunately for her, her new boss is a self absorbed sociopath.
Updates are currently Monday, with some sporadic mid-week updates if I have time!
This Indigo guy you came up with looks almost exactly like Sid from BOO by CPD here on Smackjeeves. Right down to the hat, hairdoo, bushy eyebrows, gap between the teeth and slender build. Were you perhaps influenced by his design? Because I noticed that you are also a fan of the comic :)
@BlooEyedSpazz: I can see the similarities, and to be honest I completely forgot Boo existed. I haven't read any of my webcomics I follow in ages. But even so, I clicked the link, and I feel like I definitely need to point something out.
Almost everyone wears a top hat in my webcomic. Thats a major part of the point, they're all magic users, and thus require hats (most commonly, top hats). So, I don't really think that can count, considering he's not the only one who wears a hat like this. Slender build is a bit silly. MANY characters are drawn with slender builds. TONS of comics have entire casts with slender built bodies. So I'm not sure how that counts either.
Lastly, messy hair and a gap tooth are total coincidences. I gave him gap teeth, because I have gap teeth. And one day I realized there really aren't many gap teeth characters, so I gave him a gap to try and expand character designs. And messy hair... well, look at every anime ever and you'll see a billion characters that also have messy hair. Besides that, nothing in their designs are in any way similar. Sid seems to have a very lazy loose clothing style, its even torn up all over the place. Indigo literally GLOWS from the annoying brightness of his outfit. He wears platform boots, I's literally dot his outfit. Nothing clothes-wise is actually in any way similar either.
And besides, coincidences happen all the time. The more you design new characters and try new things with different characters and styles, you're bound to end up creating a character that looks similar to another.
