It's a good thing there's nothing around Cocos to be mistaken for arms.

Why you gotta rain on everyone's parade, Cirrus? I forget if Nim and Cirrus are related or if that hasn't been revealed yet (Cocos asked if they were "the new prince and princess").

Also, Cocos seems like the kind of really nice character that will end up being super scary when she's mad o_o

@MegaMiner71: Right, that is a possibility.
Part of me hopes that Virga is either Cirrus or Nim's (or both's) mother. Cocos asking Nim if she's considered becoming queen suggests Nim is at least a possible candidate. And Cirrus' outfit resembles Virga's, assuming she keeps the same design.

It could also be that the two of them are just members of two different royal families of Stratoverse.

@MegaMiner71: Compared to some other monstrously confusing webcomics on the internet that sometimes even require the author going back and explaining how everything fits together (coughcoughhomestuckcough), I'd say that it's more of an enlightening experience of 'I REMEMBER THAT OMG IT ALL CLICKS TOGETHER NOW' for me. There are little details that seem like throwaways at one point that you just remember for whatever reason and they all come back around later in the story, and I personally think that's rly cool :)

First off, I love reading everyone's theories and comments, even if I don't respond much! You'll definitely find out soon(ish) about the Stratoversians.

@Taseli: Hehehe. Did you call him Citrus.... because he's being so SOUR?

@MegaMiner71: I find it curious that you say Gloomverse does Over Information Giving, since I'm pretty much doing the exact opposite of that. There are a billion things I haven't explained (though I throw hints at) and I'm not producing paragraphs of information page by page. I haven't gone in detail at all, about Nim being royalty, other then it being mentioned in passing. In fact, in Gloomverse I have thrown hints and foreshadowing to a billion things, but I've hardly gone 'over information mode' about it. The only thing I can try to understand, or what it seems like you're saying, is that maybe I shouldn't put any hints at all, or for some reason, throw all the information at my readers at once, which is something that I find appalling for a writer to do, and boring for readers to read. Gloomverse does not do over information giving, its doing the exact opposite. Foreshadowing, and giving readers hints about future events, are really, under information giving, while giving readers something to analyze, and look foreward to. Gloomverse is 'Over Information Giving' in the same sense that Gravity Falls, or Steven Universe overgives information-- is the fact it doesn't. I give my readers hints that, if they choose to look into, can go back and look into. But, if readers DON'T want to go back and delve into it again, they don't have to, and will still get the story fine. Besides, you seemed to have no problem remembering information from many chapters past, and its helping build theories for whats going on in the present.

I write Gloomverse, so that if people choose to re-read it, they catch things the second time they didn't the first. Things that DO foreshadow, or do enrich future events. If a reader doesn't want to go back and re-read, that's fine, they'll get the story just fine that way, but for everyone else, I always want something for them to come back to.

And honestly, the final thing; Gloomverse is set in a completely different world, with completely different rules, countries, customs, beliefs, ect ect, from the one we're in. So you're right, this is absolutely, a lot of information to take in, which is EXACTLY why I've spread it out. I knew coming up with Gloomverse, that I would NEVER want to throw all the information about the world I'm writing at readers all at once. Its boring, and hardly builds a believable world. The reason why Cirrus mentioned Nim being royalty at that point, is because although readers weren't exactly privy to it yet, they do come from a vastly different culture then Gloomverse, and according to their culture, what she's doing is strange. It had everything to do with what the character, with their background, would do in this situation. And finally, by letting readers learn even the slightest things about Stratoversians before the country actually comes into play, it prepares them for what sort of people Stratoversian's would actually be. The actual, major reason for this chapter, literally comes down to: Introduce leaders of every country, bits of every countries culture, so that I can finally start expanding Gloomverse from a one-country comic, to a comic that encompasses a plot connecting multiple, completely different, complex countries.

Alright, put in my two cents. I'm glad you enjoy the comic, I do really enjoy writing and drawing it. :) And I hold nothing against no one, I just felt like I should really say something to this.

@pfenix: Well thank you! :) That's what I'm goin for! And yeah, Homestuck is.... well.... I like the characters, at least.

@MegaMiner71: Hey, its all good, I'm not angry or anything like that, I suppose I was just a little thrown off, and misunderstood exactly what you were saying. I don't want anyone to shut up! In fact, your theories were fascinating and I love seeing people delving into the universe! I hope you don't feel bad, I hope I didn't write in a way to make you feel bad! I guess I just do things a little differently is all.

But one thing is for sure, writing entire worlds is a very difficult thing to do, especially when they differ significantly from our own. My previous comics were pretty small-in-scope in regards to the worlds they were in, and this is my first project making something far bigger and more complex. And it IS difficult, in a way thats tough to navigate into a story. But please, PLEASE don't feel bad, I love reading your comments, and I just misunderstood you. :) Everything is fine, I promise.
