She was just a regular, unwanted kid, until she was lucky enough to get a job under the best magician in the world! Unfortunately for her, her new boss is a self absorbed sociopath.
Updates are currently Monday, with some sporadic mid-week updates if I have time!
Is Alto the king? Because then the line "once Alto passed to her presence in peace" confuses me. Should that say "his"?
Also, so I'm guessing the strongest male in Stratoverse is named king and the second strongest named prince. Then the strongest female is named queen and the second strongest the princess. Or something like that. Though I really want Virga and Cirrus to be blood related for some reason.
Ok so king, queen, prince, and princess are four separate roles and they don't have to be blood related or even married (Since Virga mentioned the king's wife). And from what Virga says, taking the position probably doesn't require killing the other, but Alto is so weak it would happen. I think thats it anyway.
@AceofSpades: Hmm. The prince having to challenge the king to a duel makes sense! I mean, Stratoversians are all on power. The strongest thrive in Stratoverse. So it's understandable that in order to assume the throne, one would have to fight for it. It also makes sense what Virga meant about Nim "claiming" her position as princess. She had to painstakingly move up the ranks in order to get to the top. It also explains why she has a tendency to call Cirrus "lord". They're not exactly related.
I guess I'm the only one taking this all another way. I think the way to become King or Queen is to beat the previous person in combat. They seem to value strength above all, and if you can't beat the strongest person, how can you be king/queen? And people won their positions fair and square, right? They fight for their rank, imo. But Cirrus doesn't give a crap, he doesn't want to be king, so he doesn't challenge him, despite he could take him. Thus him becoming King when Alto dies is dishonorable because they didn't battle.
I just realized
They said the king was old so I'll assume he's at least sixty. They said he could live another eighty years. That means he might live to be 140 years old. I'm going to guess I underestimated the age so if that's true then daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang that's a long time.
WARNING LONG BUTT COMMENT
I'm gonna ramble for a bit. But so far we know little about the other countries right? The most we know are about the citizens of Gloomsverse, and Ecoverse, but we don't know much about the other countries other than the simple facts like 'stratoversians can use their powers continuously, and that inversians and gloomsverse citizens don't get along well. But we are learning more and more about them so far by every update for now. I want to make sure that we can know as much as we want because once you think about it. The other countries MUST have a purpose but instead we should stop and question this 'what about these people with colors. Like Indigo, Purple, Red, and Blue,' Well It was shown in the flash back that purple had with him and Wallis that he use to not be...well purple! It must go for the same (try to imagine that lol) for the others but where does this come from? We know that magic is most likely formed because of the country you live in. But what about the color people? There is one more country but it has not been mentioned yet but might soon. Also Stratoversians have plenty of magic but Inversians look like they have none so far. None posses Hats or wands like Gloomverse and Ecoverse. But what about Stratoverse? They have no wands or hats (Unless if those clouds count) But they use magic? What is up with that? Anyway the main questions we need answered are. 'Why are the colors here?' 'Are they from the country not mentioned?' 'and what's up with stratoverse with no hats?' Well we can conclude so far since purple wasn't purple when he was born when he got his hat and wand he might of turned purple. It happened to Harold (not entirely sure if it happened to him or not I'll look back into it) and maybe some other people. So we can have a theory (Not entirely sure just a theory for now) that the colors get their well colors when they get their wand and hat. and what about the other country! It has to be there for some sort of reason (or i'm an idiot) but there are so many theories that could be made! But anyway I'm done for tonight (It's late and i need sleep I'll be back tomorrow after school if someone actually wanted me to lmao this was actually long af...)
I'm thinking that Evets is the criminal Orange that The Judge is looking for. I bet if he wore something with color it would change to be orange. We already know the color people's magic doesn't affect black and white, right?
